3D Projects

These are personal 3D projects I made with special add-ons like lighting and programming.
All the models were made by hand using Maya, then implemented in Unity and Visual Studio.

Motion Sensor Lights

June, 2025 | Maya, Unity, Visual Studio

3D models made in Maya with lighting in Unity that turns on and off when you approach it. This represents a series of ways to create lighting in Unity and add extra features to it like sensors.

This project was inspired by a horror maze game my friend was creating. They had issues with their players not knowing which path to take and getting lost. Creating motion sensor lights that turn on when the player is going in the right direction would solve that issue.

  • A 3D realistic desk lamp model with detailed components like light bulb, chain, and base.
  • Lightbulb object inside the lamp has 3D spotlight lighting to reveal the environment around it and to notify the player that they are getting closer.
  • A simple C# script that enables the spotlight object when triggered on the lightbulb. This is to resemble motion sensor lights when the player is close by.

  • Used Maya to create a 3D realistic desk lamp model with 3D spotlight lighting in Unity to reveal the environment
  • Programmed a simple C# script in Visual Studio that turns on the light when approached to resemble motion sensor lights.
