Z3: Student Games Expo
Z3: Student Games Expo
Event Date: June 2nd, 2025
Planning Time: 3 months
Z3 was the first big event I lead for VGDC. It is a huge showcase for students to display games they worked on all year long to peers, faculty, and alumni at UCI. There is also a raffle for students to win prizes from Razer by playtesting games and a section of booths for UCI clubs to sell merch, called Artist Alley!
What I Did:
Lead logistics with 10 VGDC Officers to present 30 UCI student’s games for 300+ faculty, students, and alumni.
Managed playtests booths for participating teams, Razer prizes, club merch booths, budget lists, weekly meetings, event equipment, marketing, and forms.
Displayed two of my own games I worked on during the 2024 - 2025 school year, Tale of the Bubblemancer and Seaside Showdown.
Invited UC San Diego's Video Game Development Club to present their student's games and bring them to UCI for the first time.

Uni Jam
Event Dates: June - July, 2025
Planning Time: 2 months
Uni Jam was a month long summer game jam event I created and managed with 2 VGDC officers and students from Game Dev clubs at other California Universities. The event included workshops and game nights hosted by students from other schools.
Directed a virtual Summer Game Jam for 400+ students from 17 different game dev clubs at Cal-State and UC schools.
Communicated with graphic designers to advertise workshops and game nights for 4 weeks before the Game Jam.
Scheduled 2 - 3 game nights and workshops every week before the Game Jam
Hosted a week long virtual Game Jam over Discord and Itch.io where students from multiple clubs worked together to create a game with an Astral theme.
